Menlo College senior Kalin Knight-Alvarez earned her second All-American honor at Menlo College in 2015. She started off her tournament by pinning Alanda Nguyen of Life University in just 1:25 seconds. She followed that up with a technical fall over Dayana Ramierez of Waldorf College then drew  fourth-ranked Shelby Morrison of Oklahoma City University in the quarterfinal. Morrison, who would go on to place fourth in the tournament, pinned Knight-Alvarez in 1:07. The senior was not done there, though, as she won her next two matches to advance to the consolation semifinals. Second ranked Amy Fearnside of University of Jamestown awaited her and ultimately took an 11-3 decision from the senior. In the fifth place match, her seventh match of the weekend, Knight-Alvarez dropped a 10-2 decision to No. 6 Laura Anderson to earn sixth place and claim All-American status.
