SAN FRANCISCO - Menlo College had no answers in a 46-0 loss to NCAA Div. I Stanford at San Francisco State on Wednesday night. The Oaks lost every match against a Cardinal team that is one week removed from a No. 25 national ranking.

Menlo dropped three matches by pin and forfeited the heavyweight match. However, it was not a total loss for the Oaks as Adrian Gonzales very nearly pulled out a victory at 174 pounds, dropping a 3-2 decision to Jake Johnson. In other competitive matches, Drake Medeiros lost 12-5 at 125 pounds to Ryan Mango and Hanna Malak lost 8-2 at 197 pounds to Richard Kessler.

The Oaks will have a three-week break before taking on Pacific University and Southern Oregon in a pair of duals on Dec. 16 in Ashland, Ore.
