ASHLAND, Ore. - Menlo College was no match for Oregon Tech in a 7-0 non-conference loss on Saturday. The Oaks allowed two goals in the span of one minute, two seconds within the opening 15 minutes and couldn't erase the deficit.
Menlo is now 0-4-1 on the season and returns to action on Sept. 21 at Fresno Pacific at 7 p.m. Oregon Tech is 2-2 overall.
The Oaks trailed 3-0 at the half and it only got worse in the second period of play. Daniel Schwartz made two saves in goal for Menlo while Alex Maricic stopped six shots. Jorge Mena fired off two shots in the Oaks attack while Hugo Conchas, Mykel Kinhult and Jesper Boni each took a shot at scoring.
