The Oaks traveled to Vallejo to go up against California State University Maritime for their second conference game. The last time Menlo saw Maritime was at the end of last season and Menlo cruised to a 59-77 victory over the Keelhaulers.

Maritime is 1-13 this season and Menlo went into tonight looking to get their first conference win.

After playing a tight match through the first half Menlo would pull away midway through the second. Maritime would not be able to catch up and the Lady Oaks notched their first conference win. Menlo trumped Maritime with a 70-57 victory.

This was the team's best all around team performance this year as every member of the squad came off the bench and contributed.

In her second game back Stephanie Truong had an impressive performance as the scoring leader putting up 13 points. Monique Ayers- Calvello snatched 11 rebounds and put up nine points.

Menlo will return home to face Bethany on January 13 at 5:30pm.
