SAN DIEGO – Trailing by two goals with 11 minutes remaining in the match, the Menlo College men’s soccer team scored three times to defeat San Diego Christian College, 3-2, Friday.
Junior forward Aiden O’Flynn started the scoring for Menlo, connecting on as assist from San Diego native Armando San Vincente. Moments later, senior defender Kevin Koutou found the back of the SDCC net unassisted.
Another San Diego product, freshman forward Gary Hodgson, scored the game-winner to move the Oaks to 3-0 on the season. O’Flynn was credited with the assist.
The Oaks resume action Saturday at Point Loma Nazarene at 10 a.m. The Sea Lions defeated Dominican, 3-2, on Friday.
