ATHERTON, CA -5/13/02- Keith Larsen, Head Basketball Coach at Menlo College, is once again hosting basketball camps this summer designed to put the FUN back in FUNdamentals.

There are several dates set for camp. Session I will be from June 24-28, Session II is set for July 8-12, and Session III is scheduled for July 15-19. Each session has two different time periods, with the morning camp scheduled from 9:00 am – 12:00 am while the afternoon camp begins at 1:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm.

Coach Larsen brings 25 years of coaching experience on the peninsula to Menlo College. Not only has he coached at the high school level for 14 years, he also has played an intricate part in the rise of Stanford Basketball as Assistant Coach for 5 seasons (1993-1997) prior to coming to Menlo College.

Among those who will join Larsen are Trevor Hoppe and Matt Prescott, both assistant coaches on the Menlo College basketball team. Current Menlo College and Stanford University basketball players will also be assisting in the camp. In addition to that, Kris Weems, a member of Stanford’s 1998 Final Four team will also be a guest speaker at this year’s camp.

Each camp costs $125 to attend, or $225 for both the morning and afternoon camp. The camp also offers an early bird drop-off/evening owl pick-up times. Drop off will be 8:15 am and late pick up will be at 5:00 pm. There is an additional cost per session of $25 or $40 for both.
