ROCKLIN, CA - The Menlo women's cross country team finished second, while the men nabbed fourth in the Cal Pac Preview meet held last Friday at William Jessup University. The women's team finished with 48 points, just seven points shy of the meet champion CSU-East Bay, with three runners finishing in the top 10.
Freshman Katherine Fulp-Allen led the women's squad, crossing the line in 21:48, good for a fifth place finish with freshman Lauren Daniels crossing eight seconds later (21:56) to claim sixth place. Rounding out the top ten was sophomore Sara Fulp-Allen with a time of 23:11.
Top finishers for the men were freshman Sean Weeks (33:10), senior Ryan Cramer (33:22) and freshman Kyle Sattler (33:53) who placed 12th, 13th, and 14th respectfully.
The Menlo cross country teams travel to Oakland for the Mills College Invitational this Friday.
