ATHERTON, CA – Senior Jarin Beck and junior Cameron Lawrence both finished two-over par 74 to lead the Menlo College men’s golf team to a third place finish at last Thursday’s Menlo College Tournament, hosted at the par-72, 6,833-yard Palo Alto Municipal Golf Course.

Cal-State East Bay captured first place with a 287 score after three of their golfers shot under par. Holy Names squeezed by with a 298 to secure a second place finish.

Senior Marc Smith finished with a 77, followed by junior Scott Walsh’s 78 and Joachim Sunberg finished with a score of 79.

The Oaks next meet will be the Cal Pac Championship hosted by Cal-State Maritime Academy.
