SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. - Thanks to a solid team effort, Menlo College had little trouble putting away Bethany, 25-11, 25-16, 25-20, in a California Pacific Conference contest on the road Friday night.

The Oaks bumped their record to 3-0 in the Cal Pac - running their conference winning streak to 17 matches - and 6-7 overall. Menlo plays at UC Santa Cruz (15-3) tonight at 7 p.m. in a non-conference match. Two weeks ago the Oaks let a two-game lead slip away in a home loss to the Banana Slugs. Bethany is 1-2 in the Cal Pac and 2-9 overall.

Reigning Cal Pac Player of the Week Stephanie Williamson had another solid performance for the Oaks, finishing with 19 assists and two assisted blocks. Deborah Bekowies and Katie Pendley had seven kills apiece while Sarah Poole totaled six kills and 10 total blocks.
