ATHERTON, Calif. - For the second time this season, senior setter Stephanie Williamson was named California Pacific Conference Player of the Week after leading the Oaks to another perfect weekend in conference play.
Williamson closed out the week with 32 assists, three service aces, two kills and as many digs in a three-game victory over Bethany on Senior Night. The previous night she had 23 assists, nine digs, four kills and three aces in a win at Mills. Thanks in large part to Williamson, Menlo has won seven straight matches and is 9-0 in the Cal Pac. The Oaks have won 23 consecutive conference matches dating through last season.

In less than two full seasons at Menlo, Williamson already ranks in the top seven in two career categories. The San Joaquin Delta College transfer moved up to second in career assists on Senior Night with 997 on her career, leaving her just 26 shy of sole possession of the school record. Williamson ranks seventh in career service aces with 74 and needs only eight more to move into fifth place. Her 556 assists this season is the fifth best single-season effort in program history.

Menlo is 13-9 overall and returns to action on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Pacific Union. The Oaks can clinch at least a share of the Cal Pac regular season title with a win. Menlo's final regular season home match is Nov. 6 versus William Jessup, though the Oaks will play at home the following weekend in the Cal Pac Tournament championship game if they win the regular season.
