The reigning WCWA National Champion won all three of her matches at 51 kg on Saturday, though the oaks fell 29-18 to Yakima Valley, 31-7 to Simon Fraser, and 44-4 to Oklahoma City in a tough a field. In the process, second-ranked Fulp-Allen defeated current No. 1 Natasha Umemoto of Oklahoma City for the second time in as many days. After losing the first period 7-1, Fulp-Allen won the final two periods 4-0 and 1-0 for the victory. Her other two victories on the day came via pin within the first 38 seconds of each match.

Unfortunately for the Oaks, the rest of the team managed just three victories combined during the duels. Freshmen Sherylyn Sabado (48 kg) and Keaton Long (67 kg) each won a match, as did junior Brittany Caoile (95 kg).

In other duels, Oklahoma City defeated Simon Fraser 28-13 and Yakima Valley 45-1.

Menlo is now holds a 2-4 record in duels this season. The Oaks return to action next Saturday at 9 a.m. at the National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
