ROCKLIN, Calif. - Menlo College was swept in a California Pacific Conference doubleheader for the second day in a row when it dropped contests 11-0 and 6-1 on Saturday at William Jessup.

The Oaks were limited to an Ululani Reyes single in the first half of the doubleheader with two big William Jessup innings ending the game. In the nightcap, Menlo was right with the Warriors before a late four-run inning put it out of reach.

Menlo is now 0-4 in Cal Pac play and 1-10 overall. The Oaks hit the road again this week, playing doubleheaders at Occidental at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, at Whittier at 2 p.m. the following day, and at 12 p.m. against Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday. William Jessup is 4-0 in conference and 11-6 overall.

The Oaks fell into a 2-0 hole after the first inning of the finale, but responded with its lone run of the day. Courtney Emry led off with a single and eventually came around to score to trim Menlo's deficit to 2-1. Emry finished the game 2-for-3 while Jamie Pauley, Alisha Vegas, Nadia Le'i, and Tenea Golson each singled once.

Jessica Cobb went the distance in game two, pitching six innings while allowing four earned runs on 10 hits. Cobb struck out two batters and walked three. Mikayela Viramontes was the losing pitcher in the first game, allowing five earned runs in 3 1/3 innings.

Menlo trailed just 2-1 entering the bottom of the sixth inning, but William Jessup put the game out of reach with four insurance runs. The first game of the day was scoreless until the Warriors pushed four runs across in the third inning and added another seven in the fourth.
