PALO ALTO, Calif. - Menlo College put together a strong round to finish fourth in the team standings at the 2010 California Pacific Conference Golf Championship on Thursday at Palo Alto Municipal Golf Course.
 

Playing as the tournament's host, the Oaks fired a combined 322 as a team. Holy Names finished in first place with a 295 followed by William Jessup (302), Simpson (305), and Menlo. California Maritime did not field enough golfers for a team score.

 

Brandon McCracken led Menlo with a 77, placing 10th overall. Cody Grimes and Kamalu Kaina each shot an 81, Mark Mizoguchi shot an 83, and Rich Tamborini an 88.

 

Daren Johnson of Holy Names was the tournament winner, firing a 72. William Jessup's Derek Zachman also shot a 72. Garrett True (Holy Names) and Micah Eppler (Simpson) each finished with a 73 while Stephen Edman (Holy Names) and Gareth Gobey (William Jessup) each ended on 74.
