The Menlo Competitive Cheer Squad is proud to announce two new signings to add to their 2012-13 roster. Abbie Curtice and Liz Gaddie will be joining the Oaks in what will be the second year of the program.
Abie Curtice, a native of Ripon, CA is an incoming freshman that has been cheering since she was seven years old. Curtice plays the base position, and is excited about the opportunity to be a part of the Menlo family. "I am looking forward to getting to know all of my teammates and getting to work with other dedicated cheerleaders," claims Curitce. For Oaks Head Coach Kezia Molinsky, she is equally enthusiastic with her newest addition. "I am very excited to have Abbie on our team," comments Molinsky. "She has a wealth of experience that will enhance our level of talent."
Menlo's second signing, Liz Gaddie, hails from Houston, Texas and can play in a myriad of positions, including base, backspot, and tumbler. She has previous experience in dance, ballet, jazz, tap, and has been cheering since the 6th grade. "Liz's enthusiasm and dedication to the sport of competitive cheer is unparalleled," remarks Coach Molinsky. "I am eager to add Liz's talents in stunting and tumbling to our team." As far as Gaddie is concerned she is raring to go in what will be a new environment for her. "I'm looking forward to a great bonding experience with my new Menlo College family," says Gaddie. "Coming all the way from Texas is a big change for me, but I'm ready to take it on head strong."
