Men's Basketball - Mon, Mar. 19, 2012

The NAIA DII Men's Basketball All-American list was announced, and Menlo's own Tim Tatum took home the distinct honor of a 2nd Team All-American.  The senior from Vacaville dominated during his final campaign with the Oaks, averaging 15.3 points per game while leading the conference with 10.3 rebounds to earn the California Pacific Conference Player of the Year award.

Tatum also recorded 12 double-doubles this year while his 10.3 boards per game were good enough for 8th in the nation.  The 6'6" forward ends his storied two-year Menlo career as a two-time Cal Pac first teamer and a legacy as good as any.  Tatum's 8.3 career rebounds puts him 2nd on the program's all time list while his 299 boards in 2011-12 shatter the all-time single season mark of 221.
