Menlo College senior Alex Palomarez had seven saves and a shutout in the Oaks' 1-0-1 week and was selected as the California Pacific Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the dates of August 27th through September 2nd, 2012.

The Fremont, California native had seven saves and allowed one goal and a shutout for the Oaks in their 1-0-1 week. The Oaks won 1-0 over Evergreen State College on Thursday in Olympia and, on Saturday, the Oaks tied Northwest University 1-1 in Kirkland. As of September 1st, Palomarez was tied for first in the conference in shutouts (1) and tied for sixth in saves per match (3).Menlo College has one match this week.

The Oaks will take on Westmont College in Atherton on Saturday.
