Erika Savela selected as Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Menlo College senior Erika Savela had three goals in two matches for the Oaks last week and was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the dates of September 10^th through 16^th, 2012.

The Stockholm, Sweden native had seven shots, all of which were on goal, and three goals as the Oaks went 2-0 on the week. The Oaks beat Marymount College 2-1 on Friday in Atherton and beat Southern Oregon University in Atherton on Sunday 3-2 in overtime. Both matches were a part of the 2nd Annual Menlo Invitational. 

The Lady Oaks will not be in action this week.  Their next match is Monday, September 24th at home against Northwest Christian.
