Menlo College senior Alex Palomarez was selected as the California Pacific Conference's Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season and ninth time in his two year career.  This latest honor spans from the week of Oct. 8th-14th.   

Palomarez, a native of Fremont, allowed just two goals and notched two more wins in the Oaks perfect week of soccer.  Menlo won two California Pacific Conference matches, the first on Tuesday as they won 3-1 over CSU Maritime Academy in Vallejo and the second on Saturday as they won 5-1 over William Jessup University. The Oaks have two California Pacific Conference matches this week as they take on Simpson University in Redding on Wednesday and on Sunday, they will take on Pacific Union College in Angwin.
