THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Menlo College women's golf got the spring season underway at Sunset Hills Golf Course in Thousand Oaks on March 14 and finished 8th out of 9 in the competitive field. Menlo shot 403 as a team in the first round and finished with an 11 stroke improvement to shoot 392 in round two. Junior Madison Holm was Menlo's top finisher, tying for 24th place overall thanks to a fantastic second round. In her first round of the tournament she shot a 97 but managed to shave 18 strokes off her round two total to finish at 178 for the tournament. Caitlin Banke was Menlo's next finisher at 38th overall. She too had a big jump from round one (105) to round two (98) which helped both her and the team. Alissa Thompson was close behind, finishing 39th (99+106=205) while Vanessa Marshall finished 41st (102+107=209) to round out the Oaks.
