KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Recently announced by the NAIA, Women's Basketball has a member on the NAIA Scholar-Athlete team, and her name is Kelsey McKeon. This is the first time that McKeon, a senior who transferred to Menlo before last season, has been awarded the scholar-athlete title at the NAIA level, coming on the heels of her earning the GSAC Scholar-Athlete honors.

Qualifications for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete are a 3.50 GPA and at least two full semesters completed at the place of his or her studies while also being at least a junior or senior academically. McKeon recently played her final game for the Menlo Oaks against Arizona Christian to close out the campaign. The Marketing and Management major from Alameda returned from injury this season to play in 29 games, while making 17 starts. She averaged a career-best 7.4 points per game while finishing fourth on the team with 4.4 rebounds per game. McKeon finished third on the team in total rebounds this season with 129 and was sixth on the team in scoring.
