ATHERTON, Calif. – Menlo College Head Men's Volleyball coach Atlee Frechette has announced the inaugural recruiting class consisting of 15 players for the upcoming 2017-18 season. Men's volleyball, which is played in the spring, will compete as members of the NAIA in the "emerging sport" classification. Get to know the 13 newcomers (12 freshman) to Menlo and two current student who will compete in the team's first season next year!

Two current students will join the first team as senior Brad Sawin shifts gears from the basketball team over to the volleyball team where he will serve as a 6-3 middle blocker/opposite. He'll be joined by Menlo College sophomore Pukana Vincent who played his prep volleyball at Kamehameha High School as an outside hitter/opposite. The lone transfer in the recruiting class is junior Jarrod Jordan (6-6 MB) who comes to Menlo from Santa Barbara City College.

12 freshman make up the bulk of the class with seven hailing from California, one from Brazil and four from Hawaii. The following players will done the Menlo Blue and White next season:
