ATHERTON, Calif. – Menlo College Athletics will have a new look moving forward with the recent unveiling of the new athletics logo system. The new mark, seen below, is a dynamic translation of our new College brandmark, with upward momentum signifying the department's growth and continual upward trajectory. Menlo College Athletics primary colors remain blue and white with a grey accent color which replaces the gold accent form the previous logo. The "M" serves as the departments primary logo with variations that include 'Menlo', 'Oaks', and word "cut through" marks that can signify a specific team or department. Menlo's mascot, Oakie the Acorn, remains in the brand repertoire in a new forward-facing variety with the Oaks word mark included.
The design goal was to better match how Menlo looks to its values and community while still speaking to the heritage of a proud, 90 year old institution. Trustees, faculty, staff, and students all contributed to the process and roll out has already begun on campus.
The new website incorporates the new brand and provides Oaks fans with a state-of-the-art, dynamic interface to keep up to date on all things Menlo College Athletics. An increased news photo section allows us to better highlight the action shot from that big play while the new color scheme on news stories increases readability. Our featured athlete portal got a facelift, and our new photo galleries will allow us to link photos to each individual players bio page! Have a look around to see all of the exciting new features of the new and improved www.menloathletics.com!
In addition, the Menlo Athletics app, available on Android and iPhone will also get an update! In a few short weeks, the new app will be available for update/download!
