Sergio Lopez lead the way for the Oaks, finishing with a time of 33:42, good enough for 16th overall. Right behind him was teammate Alfonso Paez with a finish time of 34:34. Ryan Cramer and Julio Garcia had season best times of 35:45 and 36:27 respectively. Co-host Notre Dame de Namur dominated the run with a first place finish. Five or their six runners finished in the top five.

Coach Torres continues to be impressed with the improvement of his runners. Most noteably, each runner improved his time from the previous competition. Lopez managed to shave off five minutes from his time. Scott Perez also showed major personal improvement finishing six minutes earlier than his last time (45:19).

The Oaks will continue to train before competing in another Cal-Pac Invitational, this time hosted by Pacific Union. The team will make the trip up to Angwin, CA on October 8th.
