2017 Men's Soccer Coaches
Keith Lambert returns for his fifth season as a soccer head coach at Menlo, but his first season with the Men's team after being the head coach of the Women's team for the past four seasons.
In his inaugural season, Lambert led the Oaks to an 11-5-1 overall record and an 8-4-1 mark in conference play which earned the team one of four conference postseason tournament berths. The following season, the Oaks again qualified for the Cal Pac playoffs, this time as the fourth-seed, and stunned the field by winning the Cal Pac Title. In the first season in the GSAC, Lambert helped guide the Oaks to the school's first-ever GSAC playoff appearance, advancing to the quarterfinals. Last season, the Oaks returned to the playoffs in the GSAC, becoming the first Menlo team to make consecutive appearances. Fifteen players have earned all-conference honors during his tenure, five players have earned scholar-athlete awards, two players have been honorable mention all-americans, and one third team all-american.
In addition to his duties at Menlo College, Lambert currently coaches the Alpine Strikers, a U19 club team in the Bay Area.
Lambert joined the Oaks from CSU East Bay where he served as first assistant coach on the Men’s Soccer team for the past four seasons. Lambert brings with him a great deal of coaching experience at both the collegiate and youth levels. In addition to his four seasons as first assistant at CSU East Bay, Lambert also spent time as an assistant coach for both the Men and Women’s teams at his alma mater, Humboldt State University. He has also contributed at the youth level over the past two years as the head coach of U15/U18 National Premier League boy’s teams for the Tri Valley Soccer Club. Lambert is currently the Boys Varsity Soccer coach at Archbishop Riordan High School.
As a player, he spent two seasons at CSU San Bernardino before transferring to Humboldt state. A midfielder for two seasons at Humboldt State, Lambert collected second-team All-CCAA and second-team All-West Region honors as a senior captain. Following his collegiate career, Lambert spent one season as a member of the Lancaster Rattlers of the Premier Development League.
Lambert is a 2008 graduate of Humboldt State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics. He is currently enrolled in the Master's in Public Administration Program at Cal State University East Bay, a degree he is set to earn in August, 2014. Lambert holds NSCAA Level II goalkeeping, and Premier Coaching Diplomas.
Lambert is a native of Lancaster, Calif. and currently resides with his wife Kimberly in San Mateo.

As a player, Ross grew up in the Professional Academy system of two Scottish Premier League clubs, St Mirren FC and Kilmarnock FC. He was a full time scholar at Kilmarnock Football Club from 2010 to 2012. He joined Clyde Football Club in the Scottish Football League after leaving Kilmarnock. During the 2013 season, he was offered a full scholarship to Campbellsville University in Kentucky, who compete in the NAIA. At Campbellsville, Ross received 3 All Conference Player awards and competed at 3 National tournaments.
Ross’s performances at Campbellsville and a strong performance in the PDL in summer 2016 led Ross to being invited to MLS and USL combines.
Ross has also competed in the PDL in 2016 and 2017, with Thunder Bay Chill and Fresno Fuego.
In addition to playing in the NPSL and PDL over the 3 previous summers, Ross has also coached, helped set up camps & clinics and provided 1 to 1 coaching to all age groups in Lansing, Michigan, Thunder Bay, Canada and Fresno, California.
In Scotland, Ross also coached at St Mirren FC, coaching at the easter and summer camps and younger ages of the youth academy.
Ross graduated from Campbellsville University with a degree in Sports Management in December 2016. He has also attained qualifications in both Fitness instructing and Achieving Excellence in Sports Performance.

Matt Tudor returns to Menlo College as an assistant coach on Coach Lambert's staff in 2017, on board for the fifth season, including the 2016 GSAC-championship year.
Tudor possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in the game of soccer, specifically as it relates to coaching goalkeepers. He holds a number of licenses and certifications including: NSCAA Premier Diploma, US Soccer National Goalkeeping License, NSCAA National Goalkeeping Level II, and Positive Coaching Alliance Double Goal Coach. Prior to joining the Oaks’ coaching staff, Tudor played four seasons for Wittenberg University(Springfield, Ohio) of the North Coast Athletic Conference where he helped lead the Tigers to a 54-20 record from 1990-94. Following the conclusion of his collegiate career, Tudor went on to play a season with Ann Arbor Elite of the USISL in 1995 and a season with the Detroit Rockers of the NPSL in 1996. He is currently the coach and goalkeeper director at Red Star Soccer Academy in Mountain View.
Tudor holds his Masters in Educational Counseling from San Jose State University and has spent 10 years as a teacher and counselor in the Bay Area. He resides in Mountain View with his wife Jen and two children, Ian and Ella.
