Zack Masters enters his third season as the Menlo College Soccer Coordinator in 2009. Masters has compiled a 20-15-2 overall record in two years, leading the women's team to an impressive 12-4-2 mark in conference play and the 2007 California Pacific Conference title. To date the Oaks have had 14 women garner All-Cal Pac recognition in just two seasons under Masters. His teams have also produced an Honorable Mention NAIA All-American and an Academic All-American.
 
Masters brought an impressive resume to Atherton with demonstrated success coaching men and women at the club and Olympic Development Program levels, in addition to coaching two nationally ranked high school programs in the Sacramento area. While the top assistant coach at Jesuit High School, Masters helped the boys varsity program to an overall record of 144-8-7, four Sac-Joaquin Section championships and a No. 1 national ranking in 2003 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Masters's boys squad attained four NSCAA top 20 national rankings during his time at Jesuit.
 
As a head coach, Masters led the St. Francis High School girl's program to four conference championships and four Sac-Joaquin section championships in five seasons, with an overall record of 104-10-17 and a No.3 national ranking by the NSCAA. Masters's girls' squad was ranked in the top 20 in the nation by the NSCAA for four out of five seasons. In 2004, Masters was named Coach of The Year for California Private and Parochial schools by the NSCAA. Masters was also named Coach of The Year by the Sacramento Bee newspaper for four seasons (2000, 2001, 2003, and 2004).
As head coach with the San Juan Soccer Club in Folsom, California, Masters took three teams to the CYSA State Cup quarterfinals. His team also captured the Nomads College Showcase championship title. He has attended such prestigious tournaments as Surf Cup (San Diego, CA), Houston Shootout, and Disney Showcase in Orlando, Florida.
 
Masters is currently a Northern California Olympic Development Program (ODP) State Team Head Coach where he attends regional camp and Real Colorado Showcase in Denver, Colorado.
Masters earned his Bachelors in Physical Education with an emphasis in teaching/coaching from Sacramento State in 1999. In 2004, He holds a Master's in Education Cross-Cultural teaching from National University. In addition, Masters has a California single subject teaching credential in physical education.

Assistant Coach - 3rd Season
Sherman Trigg enters his third season as Menlo College's women's assistant coach. Trigg served as the varsity girls head coach at Santa Clara High School for 10 years. He holds numerous coaching licenses including a United State Soccer 'C' License and a goalkeeper license.
After receiving his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education from Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore., Trigg earned another BS from San Jose Christian College, now William Jessup University, in Bible Theology. Trigg is certified by the National Strength Coaches Association in Strength and Conditioning and also has his U.S. National Coaching Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Trigg and his wife of 32 years, Karen, have four children who have all competed athletically at the collegiate level.
