McCullar came through in the clutch to lead Menlo to a 69-67 victory over Bethany on Saturday night. The junior forward kept the visiting Bruins at bay with a three-point play that extended the Oaks advantage to five points with four minutes remaining before scoring as he was fouled to push the lead to three points with less than two minutes to play.

On the night, McCullar scored a team-high 16 points with five rebounds on 7-of-11 shooting from the field. He averages 8.8 points - third best on the team - and a team-best 5.4 rebounds. McCullar's 50.6 field goal percentage leads the team and is among the best in the California Pacific Conference.

He'll lead Menlo (4-5, 8-14) against Pacific Union (2-6, 3-14) on Thursday night at 8:30 p.m.
