With the Oaks season on the line entering the Cal Pac Tournament, Grant came through with two of his finest games of the season. The ultra-quick point guard showed off his ability to get to the basket as Menlo defeated Pacific Union 57-49 in the first round and top-seeded Cal Maritime 61-57 in the semifinals.
Grant shot 5-of-6 from the field, including 2-of-2 from the outside, for 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 24 minutes versus Pacific Union. Three nights later he was 7-of-13 from the field for 15 points with four steals in 25 minutes. On the week, Grant shot 63.2 percent from the field and averaged 15.5 points, well above his 6.5 scoring average.
