Parsons came through with a big doubleheader on Saturday, helping the Oaks take two from No. 14 Pacific Lutheran. Menlo went on to take all three games from the Lutes, handing its nationally-ranked foe its first series sweep in four years.

The imposing first baseman doubled and drove in two runs in the series opener, an 8-7 comeback victory, before going 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in the nightcap, a 9-3 win. Parsons drove in a run and scored another in a 7-5 series-finale win.

Parsons is third on the team with a .288 batting average, but leads the Oaks in all the power categories. He has six home runs, 19 RBI's, eight doubles, and a .682 slugging percentage.

Menlo is 9-8 on the season and plays four games in three days this weekend during a trip through Southern California.
