Beau Bussani comes into the 2011 season as the anchor of Menlo's stingy defense after a dominating 2010 performance. Bussani had a banner year with a team leading 86 tackles and four interceptions, ranking 32^nd in the nation for INTs. The senior from Rocklin also took home a whole host of honors including First Team All-NAIA Independent, NAIA Scholar Athlete, All-NAIA Independent Defensive Player of the Week (Sep. 11 vs. Chapman), and the Ray Solari Most Valuable Player Award. Bussani's lethal combination of speed, strength, and experience should make him a force to be reckoned with during the 2011 campaign.
