Graduated: 1961
Dominic Ascani (1960-1961) batted .300 both years and was Menlo's captain in 1960. Ascani transferred schools and positions following his tenure at Menlo, becoming San Jose State University's starting shortstop for two seasons. In his junior and senior seasons for the Spartans he batted .348 and .405, respectively.
Ascani also played for the 1960-61 Menlo basketball team that captured the Coast Conference championship.
