Bill Imwalle enters his ninth season heading the Menlo
golf team. A graduate of Long Beach State, Imwalle led the Oaks to their
first ever NAIA Region II postseason tournament in 2006.
Imwalle holds a degree in History from CSULB, where he started for
the 49ers volleyball team and was an NCAA All-American. He followed
his collegiate career with success on the professional beach volleyball
circuit. In addition to leading the men's golf team, Imwalle coached
the Oaks volleyball team for the past 10 years before stepping down as the program's all-time winningest coach
and a four-time California Pacific Conference Coach of the Year following the 2009 season.
Bill lives with his wife, Kathy, the Administrative Manager of Athletics for the Oaks..
