In only his first freshman season, Carlos developed into the starting point guard for the bulk of the year, starting in 16 of the team's 27 games. Carlos gave us a glimpse of his potential in a Cal Pac Conference matchup against Pacific Union back on January 20, 2011. He scored a season high 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting from the field including 3 of 4 from behind the arc in Menlo's 85-76 victory.
