Head Coach 1st season

Bio

Menlo College Women's Soccer has a new face at the helm as Robin Hart has been tabbed as the 8th head coach in program history. Hart comes to Menlo after spending the previous two seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA Div. II Sonoma State University where she helped the team to a CCAA regular season championship in 2015 and a runner-up finish in 2016.

In addition to her most recent duties at Sonoma State, Hart was the Head Coach of the Santa Rosa United Soccer Club and also as an Assistant Coach for the Region IV Olympic Development Program. Prior to these positions, Hart was an assistant coach at her Alma Mater, San Francisco State University, for three seasons and also served as the Head Coach of the East Bay United Soccer Club for six seasons.

In addition to having an extensive coaching background, Hart enjoyed a tremendous collegiate playing career, playing two seasons for the SF State Gators back in 2007 and 2008, earning All-CCAA Second Team honors and All-CCAA First Team accolades, respectively, as well as spending two seasons at CSU Bakersfield.

As a senior and team captain at SFSU in 2008, Hart led the team in goals (9) and points (20), propelling the Gators to a 12-7-3 record and appearances in the CCAA Championship and NCAA Division II Championship Tournaments.  For her NSCAA All-West Region First Team efforts that season, Hart was voted as the Gators' Most Outstanding Student-Athlete of the Year.

Not only was she a standout on the pitch, but she excelled in the classroom as well, receiving ESPN the Magazine/Academic All-District VIII College Soccer Division First Team Award honors that season.  In the spring in 2009, Hart graduated from San Francisco State with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice. She is currently pursuing a Master's of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University – Irvine.

Hart, a native of San Francisco, possesses a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Premier Diploma and a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National C License.
