Head Coach 1st season

Keith Lambert returns for his fifth season as a soccer head coach at Menlo, but his first season with the Men's team after being the head coach of the Women's team for the past four seasons.

In his inaugural season, Lambert led the Oaks to an 11-5-1 overall record and an 8-4-1 mark in conference play which earned the team one of four conference postseason tournament berths. The following season, the Oaks again qualified for the Cal Pac playoffs, this time as the fourth-seed, and stunned the field by winning the Cal Pac Title. In the first season in the GSAC, Lambert helped guide the Oaks to the school's first-ever GSAC playoff appearance, advancing to the quarterfinals. Last season, the Oaks returned to the playoffs in the GSAC, becoming the first Menlo team to make consecutive appearances. Fifteen players have earned all-conference honors during his tenure, five players have earned scholar-athlete awards, two players have been honorable mention all-americans, and one third team all-american.

In addition to his duties at Menlo College, Lambert currently coaches the Alpine Strikers, a U19 club team in the Bay Area.

Lambert joined the Oaks from CSU East Bay where he served as first assistant coach on the Men’s Soccer team for the past four seasons. Lambert brings with him a great deal of coaching experience at both the collegiate and youth levels. In addition to his four seasons as first assistant at CSU East Bay, Lambert also spent time as an assistant coach for both the Men and Women’s teams at his alma mater, Humboldt State University. He has also contributed at the youth level over the past two years as the head coach of U15/U18 National Premier League boy’s teams for the Tri Valley Soccer Club. Lambert is currently the Boys Varsity Soccer coach at Archbishop Riordan High School.

As a player, he spent two seasons at CSU San Bernardino before transferring to Humboldt state. A midfielder for two seasons at Humboldt State, Lambert collected second-team All-CCAA and second-team All-West Region honors as a senior captain. Following his collegiate career, Lambert spent one season as a member of the Lancaster Rattlers of the Premier Development League.

Lambert is a 2008 graduate of Humboldt State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics. He is currently enrolled in the Master's in Public Administration Program at Cal State University East Bay, a degree he is set to earn in August, 2014.
