Sherman Trigg enters his third season as Menlo College's women's assistant coach. Trigg served as the varsity girls head coach at Santa Clara High School for 10 years. He holds numerous coaching licenses including a United State Soccer 'C' License and a goalkeeper license.
After receiving his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education from Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore., Trigg earned another BS from San Jose Christian College, now William Jessup University, in Bible Theology. Trigg is certified by the National Strength Coaches Association in Strength and Conditioning and also has his U.S. National Coaching Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Trigg and his wife of 32 years, Karen, have four children who have all competed athletically at the collegiate level.
