Greg Lara joins the volleyball coaching staff for the 2009 season, bringing 10 years of coaching experience at the high school level and eight years coaching experience at the club level to his new role with the Oaks.
 

Lara has coached over 25 NCAA Div. I athletes and spent the last three seasons as the varsity head coach at Woodside High. He has been a coach with City Beach Volleyball Club out of Santa Clara for nearly a decade.

 
In 2005, Lara became a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance and earned Gold Medal Sqaured certification in 2008.
