Megan Finney
Assistant Coach
1st Season
Megan Finney enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Oaks after completing her career in 2009. Finney was a standout right fielder for two seasons at Menlo, finishing second in the California Pacific Conference in batting as a senior en route to becoming a First Team All-Cal Pac selection. In the Oaks record book, Finney ranks in the Top 10 in career batting average, doubles, and stolen bases. She also ranks in the Top 10 in single-season hits, runs, triples, and stolen bases.
A two-sport star at Menlo, Finney was a two-time All-California Pacific Conference soccer selection while helping lead the Oaks to a Cal Pac title and a berth in the NAIA Region II Tournament. With Finney patrolling the midfield, Menlo went 12-4-1 in Cal Pac matches and 20-15-1 overall.
Finney, a San Jose native, graduated from Menlo in May 2009 with a B.S. in Sports Management.
