Karl Reyes, born and raised in the Bay Area Peninsula, joins the Sports Performance Staff from the University of La Verne. He played collegiate basketball at Dominican University of California for 2 years, and finished his career at the University of La Verne where he also acquired his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology with a specialty in Health and Human Performance. Originally aspiring to become a Physical Therapist, Karl's strength coach at La Verne inspired and mentored him into the field of strength and conditioning because of his desire to work with athletes and their development. He interned at UC Riverside working with a wide range of Div. I athletes while also working as the Assistant Strength Coach at the University of La Verne overseeing multiple team's programs. He now joins the Menlo College Sports Performance staff certified by the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) to contribute to the athletic development of Menlo's Student Athletes. Karl seeks to specialize in SAQ (speed, agility, quickness) and power development as he plans to continue his education into a Master's degree.
