2022-23:

Went 18-0 in his debut season at Menlo ... Finished season ranked #1 in CCC and #4 in NAIA ... Posted a 214-31 point spread through his 18 matches as an Oak, and was only taken down 5 times ... Totaled 8 tech falls, 4 pins, 3 major decisions, and 3 decisions ... NAIA 133-pound National Champion ... 133-pound Cascade Collegiate Conference Champion ... an All-American ... Named NAIA Wrestler of the Year ... CCC All-Conference, Outstanding Wrestler at the CCC Conference Tournament ... Featured as a CCC Wrestler of the Week this season ... Menlo Athletics Winter Sport Athlete of the Year.

Previous Experience:

Abdullaev represented his home country of Uzbekistan at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after placing 1st at the Asian Olympic qualifier. At the Olympics, he placed 7th after defeating Minghu Liu of China. In 2021, he also won the Ukrainian International tournament and the Poland Open. In the Poland Open, Abdullaev defeated Nathan Tomasello, a 4-time All-American and Division 1 champion at Ohio State. That victory came by way of a 12-1 tech fall. In the 2022 World Championships, held in Serbia, Abdullaev defeated Ravi Kumar of India, who had placed 2nd at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
